We're sure that even though you understand how they work, you won't find them boring at all.

Egg in a bottle

-You need: An egg, a bottle with an opening narrower than the size of the egg, a thin strip of paper and a drop of vegetable oil.

-Experiment: Is it possible to put an egg in a bottle without breaking it? Yes, it is possible if it is a quail's egg. But let's try to do it with an ordinary egg. To do this, prepare the boiled egg and remove the shell. Spread vegetable oil on the opening of the bottle. Light a piece of paper and throw it at the bottom of the bottle, and then put the egg in the opening. When the paper burns, the egg will go inside by itself.

-What happens: The fire burns the oxygen inside the bottle and a kind of rarefied air is formed. The reduced air pressure inside and the normal air pressure outside cause the egg to go inside. Due to its elasticity it passes through the opening of the bottle.
